CHAPTER Scholarship
Application Fall 2002
Academic Semester
One of the most worthwhile endeavors
of the local chapters of the Texas Tech Alumni Association is the awarding
of academic scholarships. The awards are based on academic achievement,
honors, activities and, to some degree, financial need.
This application is for graduating high
school seniors, currently enrolled students at the Texas Tech University
Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, and college students transferring to
Texas Tech.
The following must be submitted
and postmarked no later than April 05, 2002: a certified high school
or current college transcript, three (3) letters of recommendation and
this completed form mailed to Amarillo Chapter-Texas Tech Alumni Association
P.O. Box 20173 Amarillo, Texas 79114. Also, please submit this completed
form via e-mail no later than April 05, 2002. Please print
this form prior to pressing the submit button. All incomplete and
late applications will be disqualified. Please respond with "N/A"
to any question which does not apply to you. These are highly competitive
scholarships.
Scholarships will be presented during
the annual spring dinner (date to be determinded).
The Texas Tech University Alumni Association
is an independent organization and chapter scholarships are in no way associated
with other scholarships or financial aid at Texas Tech University.
